so me/sharon went to the beach on friday. and they got this carnival deal going on down there that we'd been to before but just never rode anything. and there's this one ride there that's pretty tough. sort of a freefall deal that allows you to see a pretty good view of the city or the ocean. so really spur of the moment, we...or i guess i decided that we should ride it. so after convincing sharon, who seems to be deathly afraid of heights, to go, we got our tickets and got in line.

so it was a productive day. very productive indeed. i successfully defeated contra.nes. trudat. tru. yeah. and media thinks he's a tough and guy and sends me this screen shot. unfortunately, i have my own screen shot only moments later in the game. sorry dewd. =[

guess that's it. wish i had more insightful and meaningful things to say. wish people would return emails. wish dogs would taking a liking to other dogs and hang out with them. wish i had more time to play with the shit i download. wish i could make people happier. wish i was more creative. wish i could win the million. wish i could have what i don't.

k. so. can you say jealousy? well. the game is way sweet. sadly though, it could be better. there's no more chase view. i can't buy used cars. and some other silly little quirky craps along the way. but i'm happy with it for sure. it'll provide much enjoyment, no doubt.

k, now also. i saw the spirits within (final fantasy) tonight. i was highly anticipating it for months and months. and i get to see it finally. and i'm like.. eh. not really sure why i was like.. eh, either. maybe i'm just not into sci-fi. maybe i was expecting a nice little fantasy adventure. instead of some stupid space shit, maybe i wanted some sword wieldin' niggas with flaming fire magical spells. not stupid guns. another thing though. i think it might've been... too real. i mean. it was all done in CG. which is way cool, and it looked way good. but. is there a point that we cross where video games / animation become too real? i mean if i wanted to watch guys shoot ghostly creatures with guns, i would've friggin turned on ghostbusters or alien or something. i think i really wanted was my little guy cloud, with big yellow hair, and a big friggin sword. but all i got was crap.

yeah so i saw AI again. only because it's a great movie.

nah. it's a fabulous movie. no doubt. and i believe i'm the only person that likes it. but so be it. cus the dvd will be cheaper. and thus i will buy two copies. one to watch, and one to just not open.

so i saw A.I. tonight. according to everyone that i saw it with, who happened to each be movie critics themselves, said it was trash. i however, thought otherwise. instead of arguing over what speilberg did right or wrong, maybe they shoulda just watched the movie and let it overtake them. i thought it was a rather touching and strong Haley Joel Osment vehicle.

god i hate that word. whoever decided that vehicle was the correct word when referring to a piece of work that an actor did, should be shot.

and with that i shall conclude tonight's entry.
