-A Day In the Life of Luke-

09:30 AM - Luke the Architect
     Luke starts off his (late) day at his new business by constructing his own sign from the scraps of the poor guy's bumper he ran into on his way to work.  Luke has finely tuned his skills of sign making since he has so much plastic, fiberglass, sheet metal, and aluminum sitting around after rear-ending numerous people on his morning drives.

10:30 AM - Luke the Secretary
    Around this time, Luke likes to check his postal mail, personal email, and voicemail.  Luke could hire someone to do this for him, but it goes against everything Luke is about.  One day, while having lunch with Luke, he discussed his plans build his own house.  Seems smart you may think -- however Luke was discussing building the house with his own two hands.  "Sure it will take time", Luke argued, "but just you wait."

3:00 PM - Luke the Executive
     You may be asking yourself, 3 PM?  Yes.  Luke would never schedule a meeting anywhere close to his lengthy lunch break.  Luke likes a nice long lunch break.  One time Luke drove up to DC to see his baby on his lunch break.  That's devotion.  Unfortunately, Luke isn't as devoted to his company as he is, his baby.

4:00 PM - Luke the Sales Guy
     This photo is the only photo available with Luke interacting with his employees.  As you can see, Luke is a ruthless, heartless bastard.  He had just gotten off the phone with his first client, BZMOTORS, and the jackass on the right almost ruined the whole deal by goofing off at the office.

4:30 PM - Luke the Janitor
     Here you can see Luke closing up shop for the day by dusting the walls.  Luke is a very anally retentive, and no I don't mean in the homosexual sort of way.

5:00 PM - Luke the Lover
     Even though Luke is a two-timer, he's still a good lover.  He's helped me in more ways than a heterosexual male has ever helped another heterosexual male in the history of helping heterosexual males.  He told me even today that he would buy me fstreamzboy.com and link it to my web site.  If that's not love, I don't know what is.

wolfenstein.  owned some multiplayer tonight.  game is just too much fun, once you realize what the hell you're doing.  counter-strike voice calls got nothing on wolfenstein's.

weekend in richmond was good.  good times.  and gay old times.  saw some good old friends.  drank some and caught up.  walked 36 holes of golf.  saw a movie with my mommy.  saw 2 movies with my mommy and daddy.  ate a turkey dinner.  as well as some good home cookin'.  stole a sweet pen from spinnakers.  stole a flower pot from spinnakers for my buddy leigh.  ya know?.. the flower pot that they put the bread in at the beginning of the meal.  i'm quite the thief, i tell you.  i didn't spend much money over the weekend either.  which is a good thing.  i gotta cut back hard on the spendage and focus more on the savings.  just like sharon and soccer.  speaking of which.  sharon's birthday is comin' soon.  enter gift ideas here.

the point of yesterday's story about the two sunset pictures... i took them both from where i drove the ball to.  i sort of forgot to make it apparent that my drive on the 18th tee was longer the second day than the first.  i actually parred it the second day.

i'm smart.

mommy says i need ritalin cus i can't ever remember things.  she says it's a part of being a.d.d.  so being that i can't remember anything to write about over the past few days.  i will write about the things i took pictures of.  gas prices were incredibly low.  hopefully prices can stay this way awhile.

i played golf the past two days.  eighteen holes both days.  no carts.  all me.  all walk.  i feel good though.  exercise is good for a brother every now and then.  my game was on today, aside from the fact that i'd just walked 18 the previous day.  i had a few pars, but more single and double bogeys than anything.  but still, i'm horribly inconsistent.  consistency is key.. i'm telling you.  there's actually proof that my game is better.  notice how the trees and the pro-shop are closer in sunset day 2 than in sunset day 1.  most of the pictures i put up are from my golfing adventures.  i hope i'm not boring anyone.

also, i need to teach my parents how to be patient, share, and wait one another's turn.

sorry no pictures tonight.  i have them.  i just can't get them.  yes, i remembered the cable, however windows 98 just ain't havin' it.  it'll happen.  bear with me.

i saw some old friends tonight.  it was nice catching up.  it's strange how relationships develop over the years.  how a friendship is a friendship...  but then add time, separation, and change in the mix... then a friendship doesn't really seem like it's there.  but it is.  and sort of has been over time.  things change i guess.  life is evolution.  be it small or large.

i seen a lot of girls tonight too.  but they're no longer interesting.  and suddenly listening to sharon's stories seemed interesting.  i just wanted to go home, fix her dinner, and stare at her while she chattin'.  actually the only thing i could think of was the softest skin in the world against my own.  it seemed about the most interesting and intriguing thing that ran through my puny brain all evening.  it was all i could think about on the way home.  hell, i'd even pay for it.

i hate taking things for granted.  it's a disgusting habit.

ya... holidays.  thanksgiving.  what i'm thankful for?  two days off.  time with the parents.  play a little golf.  watch some movies (that sharon will never watch with me) on my parent's nice surround sound home theater.  probably see some old friends.  and just pretty much enjoy my 4 days of vacation.  of course i'll miss vabeach immensely.  my apartment.  my computer.  my friends.  the love of my life.  etc.  but that's the price you pay for a little R&R.  distance makes the heart grow fonder.  no doubt.

keep in mind that just because i have a small vacation where i won't be home, doesn't mean langdonx.com won't see the updates it needs and deserves from time to time (should be daily, sorry).  i plan on bringing my camera with me.  batteries & battery charger.  film (in the form of smartmedia).  and my usb cable.  which i need to remind myself to grab from work tomorrow.  this news article will suffice though, only because i'm my own #1 fan.  although atowers is a close second.  he's actually the first person to ever visit my website.  and i love him for it.  dearly.  hell.  he provides half the content.

work sucks this week.  i'm over it.  three 12 hour days in a row.  one can't go on like this forever.  although i do have "training" tomorrow and friday.  i say "training", because it's ridiculous.  it's second hand knowledge from my co-workers, who probably haven't the slightest grasp on the subject being trained.  however, we'll see how it turns out...  and then we'll comment.  for now, it's a two day break from the daily grind.  a well needed one.

also, i have to take back what i said before about christopher.  he's a good friend.  and he's got a very kind wife.  and if their son wasn't much more than a big ball of cuteness with no emotions yet, i'd comment on him too.

even though i only got to play counter-strike for like 1 kill and 6 deaths tonight, it still brightened up my evening seeing sb2k1 pictures of drewg sleeping with sweetness, courtesy drewmedia... who no doubt has the best decals in cstrike you've ever seen.

funny.

     tonight i had to stay late at work to get some things done.  partly because my new boss, christopher, is a flamin' wannabe database designer with no dbms or debugging skills what-so-ever.. but that's beside the point.  so here's the story:

     things were looking up for a change, one cold november day, until i received an email to do some overtime work.  being that no one else was man enough for the task, i reluctantly accepted the offer and phoned home to my lover that i would be home late.  upon hearing the news, she took it upon herself to make it all better.  armed with her incredible memory and caring nature, she ventured through chilling winds and horrible traffic to bring me this..  after i had just spoken days earlier about how i had wanted more sweaters.  this brought up my mood to a little over sub-par, until at 5:00 PM, my life-parter, luke, left me stranded at automark to start work on the second hand project i had been assigned.

     i found out that i was assigned to this task shortly after a co-worker was promoted within the company.  while the co-worker was too busy working on phone meetings with retards, i was to clean up his out-dated code.  little did i know i had to port his old code over to a new horribly structured database that was halfway intact due to negligence ... or perhaps just udder stupidity?  sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 PM, right when things were looking grimmest, a light broke through the black clouds above.  luke returned, with goods in-hand and a desire to stay and keep me company through this horrid night.

     without the people that love me, i would never have made it home to write this news article on my web site.  i thank them from the bottom of my heart.  and i hope that they can way one day come to terms with their equally jealous anger for one another.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater III is takin' over.  game is like woah.  i can't stop playin' it.  been playin' a few hours tonight, a few hours last night, and i already pretty much beat all the levels and got a hidden level.  sharon hates me for it though... so it'll work itself out that the game is so short.

so i was feelin' all important yesterday when dubya sent me an letter in the mail.  my first thoughts:  anthrax.  second thoughts:  more of this bullshit.  my second thoughts were correct.  i think i'm not going to vote just to spite everyone.  the two guys that are running are a bunch of sniveling idiots.  their ideas of campaigns are to make expensive tv commercials about how the other one sucks.  they both suck as far as i'm concerned.  so on tuesday write-in `Langdon Oliver` on your ballot.  at least i won't get sharon to leave stupid messages on your answering machine.
