a new langdonx.com television commercial has been completed.  a rough draft is available here.  a few minor revisions will be made before it airs on ABC, CBS, and NBC this fall.  be prepared.  the commercial was directed by Chris Johnson and his son Drew.  we apologize for the content within the commercial, however it was filmed before september 11th.

i walked outside this morning and i saw some horrible things.  the first thing i noticed up exhaling was that my breath was visible.  god.  it's october 30th.  it can't be that cold.  when i saw the frost on the ground, that assured me it definitely was that cold.

i hit 86,000 miles a little while ago, which means tonight i was overdue for an oil change.  so i go dump out my old oil at pepboys and pick up the new oil ciphering necessities.  keep in mind that it's a little late (8pm) and therefor it's dark outside.  so i'm gettin' all setup outside with my tools.. and who comes up?  only the sweest chick in existence.  all assistin' me with my business n'shit like she got nothing better to do.  and i know she's a busy chick.  another highlight of the oil change is that my apartment complex JUST repaved the parking lot YESTERDAY.  and i spilt mad oil all over that junk like it was kuwait.

i also bought a basketball from walmart for $4.00.  i figure i'll learn to ball for the next 4 months while i'm living at my aptartment complex and then BFC will let me in on their baller tournaments.  in four months i'll be able to drop mad science on em and tear up their courts like no other.

just today me and luke were talking about what the media reports in its daily and nightly newscasts.  how after the attacks on september 11th the media was reporting that "Experts say the most likely biological killer which terrorists might use is anthrax".  now that's interesting.  look what the fuck happened about a month after that.

back to this BBC thing.  did US officials ever think that maybe osama/usama might not have moved on?  and maybe he's a stupid bastard and stays in the same place?  and maybe these US officials should shut their friggin' mouths and check Paktia/Paktika after they're done bombing the shit out of it.  though i guess it's too late now since it's all over the internet and i'm sure in a magazine or two.

i left work tonight later than normal, although it wasn't an unpleasant leave.  it's always a good thing to leave work in a good mood.  the sky was a clear.  the bass was boomin'.  the traffic was sparse.  though the weather was a bit colder than normal, i didn't let it bring me down.  and to kick it all off, gas prices were low as a mug.

a) i got to watch trl today.  total request live.  ya, and it was actually live.  it makes it all the more interesting.  trust me.

b) did you watch george dubya's speech last night?  well, i watched some of it and i was kind of confused.  in the constitution's preamble it states 'We the people...'  yet old george last night told me that as a citizen of the United States of America, i should get back to my business.  he went on to say something about how he and his men and our troops and what not are taking care of the situation.  uhm???  hello?  we the people, george.  i'm not going to get back to my business, just because you and your men have the situation taken care of.  way to plan out your speech.

c) anthrax.  i'm not scared.  i don't really care much about it.  i don't know why.  not like i'm immune to it, or immortal.  maybe i'm just naive.  or ignorant?  maybe i'm just f'ed in the head?  who knows?

so just to keep everyone in the know.  i received my other pair of new shoes in the mail on wednesday.  furthermore, i'm sick.  i got some nasty bug earlier this week that is owning my throat/nose/sinuses/etc.  if you'd like to donate money to help better me, you may do so.  otherwise, i have no time for you.

and in a previous news update, i failed to mention that i saw melissa and met her daughter jasmine on sunday at the mall.  it was definitely the highlight of my whole weekend.  to this day, that moment is still the first thing i think of when i get up in the morning and the last thing i think of before i goto bed at night.  now i'm going to blow my nose.  good day.

awesome weekend.  friday.  saw zoolander.  friggin hilarious.  sharon was there.  drewmedia was there.  and thaz it.  none of my other friends (that would consider hanging out with me) find it cool to see movies.  eh.  get over it.  k?

saturday.  relaxed.  cleaned some stuff up.  played some cs.  and went to the mall after sharon got out of her stupid saturday class.  she spent far too much money on stuff she needed.  and i spent 75 dollars on some new shoes.  course they didn't have my size, so i had to order them.  so now i get to wait a week before i can wear them.  it was the first time i had gone into a store, dropped 75 dollars on the counter, and walked out the nothing.  so sunday.  i just went ahead and bought these too.

but i've gotten too far ahead of the point of this story.  saturday night, after venturing to the mall, sharon and i decided to head to the TCBY over at Fairfield Shopping Center.  now.  being that i live near a beach, you'd think I could probably find a closer TCBY... but nope.  i had to drive like 20 minutes just to get there, walk in, and find out it's closed.  there was a young girl working.  someone that could maybe relate to my craving for frozen yogurt with sprinkles at 10pm.  so rather than turning around and leaving... defeated... i popped the question.  can we just get a bowl of yogurt? ... uhm ok.  oh wait.  there's no cash in the register! ... so i had to whip out -- oh, can't you just throw some in a cup?  with a big smile on my face.  and she's like, sure.  and hooks me up with a medium vanilla yogurt with rainbow sprinkles.  even offered sharon one.  all free of charge.  so nice.  so nice.  made my night in fact.

this brings me to sunday.  slightly repetitious with the mall again and another movie.  this time though, we saw don't say a word.  decent movie.  slightly farfetched.

back to the point again.  we're in the mall.  and i get fries from the great steak and potato.  the bill comes to 5.01.  the guy sees i'm distraughtly searching my pockets for a penny.  i come up with nothing.  and the guy gives me 15.00 back anyways.  again.  so nice.  made my day.

i'm going to have to pay it forward this week.  so lookout.

three things are now certain.

a) chris will make me laugh.
b) chris' skill will blow me away.
c) i will prove it.

nothing in life is certain.  nothing.  creativity for one.  i just can't take at least one good picture a day.  i can't write one good news article a day.  it's not in me.  i want it to be.  but it's not there.  wait.  i lied.  one thing is certain.  luke will make me laugh.  that's the one thing i can count on everyday when i goto work.  i can also count on chris making me laugh, but i got nothing to prove it.  yet.

lunch today was good.  even though sharon hates me for it.  s'ok.  i hate her for getting to leave at 3;40 everyday.  it's not fair.  anyways.  it was me, luke, melissa, melissa, dana, alex, and noah.  we were at olive garden.  the conversation started off casual-like with some work-talk.  lots of complaints on my part about some of the co-workers i have.  then we get on the subject of building houses vs buying houses.  my dog luke says that it's cheaper to build.  course he's talking about doing 75% of the work yourself... but that's just how he is.  always bringing it back to basics.  so the point of me bringing this up.  i'm not a funny guy.  i've realized this.  but for some reason i can make people laugh when i make fun of luke or yell at him.  i don't mean to be mean.  but sometimes i am.  so i'm sorry for making fun of you dawg.  k?

one more thing.  why am i forced bullshit when i goto www.printers.com?  i'm going to start registering domain names like "cars.com" or "stereos.com", and force people langdonx.com bullshit whenever they go.  bet they'll friggin' like that.
